Support the Department of Immunology

The Department of Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is an internationally recognized leader in basic and translational immunology research. From Jonas Salk’s development of the polio vaccine to today’s breakthroughs in understanding fundamental mechanisms of the immune system and developing novel approaches to treat cancer, autoimmunity, allergy, and infectious disease, Pitt’s legacy of immunological discovery runs deep.

Philanthropic support enriches and extends that work by supporting trainees, providing opportunities to undergraduate students through the MIDS Program, strengthening our research community, and advancing the scientific discoveries that ultimately benefit human health.

If you're interested in exploring giving opportunities in the Department of Immunology, please contact Anizia Karmazyn to learn how you can make a meaningful impact. You can also make a gift online to support the Department of Immunology.
